ARCHIVING AND DIGITAL PRESERVATION POLICY

Verba: Jurnal Bahasa Inggris implements journal archive preservation efforts through GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital), which is managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

Through this system, the journal establishes a distributed archiving mechanism involving participating libraries and institutions, enabling the creation of permanent archives for the preservation and recovery of journal documents. This digital preservation strategy ensures that all published articles have alternative access points in the future.

Archive preservation is conducted to anticipate potential technical disruptions to the journal website that may result in temporary or permanent inaccessibility of published articles. By maintaining archival copies within the GARUDA system, the journal safeguards the continuity of access to its scholarly content.

Through this policy, Verba: Jurnal Bahasa Inggris is committed to ensuring the sustainability, security, and long-term availability of all published academic content.
