Tren dan Evolusi Penelitian Artificial Intelligence Tahun 2016–2026: Studi Bibliometrik Berbasis VOSviewer

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) over the last decade has experienced significant growth and has had a substantial impact on various sectors, including education, healthcare, industry, and business. This advancement has been driven by improvements in computing technology, the availability of big data, and the increasing capabilities of machine learning and deep learning algorithms. This study aims to analyze the development of Artificial Intelligence during the 2016-2026 period using a bibliometric approach. The research data were collected from Google Scholar and Scopus databases using keywords related to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI. The analysis was conducted by examining publication trends, citation counts, and keyword relationships using VOSviewer software. The results indicate that Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Explainable AI, and AI Ethics are the most dominant research themes during the study period. The keyword co-occurrence visualization reveals strong relationships between Artificial Intelligence and various application domains, particularly education, healthcare, and data-driven decision-making. Despite its numerous benefits, the rapid advancement of AI also raises challenges related to ethics, transparency, data security, and its impact on human employment. Therefore, responsible development and implementation of AI are essential to maximize its benefits for society.
